The canine and feline vaccine schedule
Every dog and cat that comes through Woodsprings gets a vaccine and wellness routine built around them rather than a single stock chart applied to everyone. A wellness visit checks your pet's overall condition at the same time it keeps vaccines current, so both happen at once instead of two separate trips.
Routine care is folded into that same visit too, which is why most owners come in for a wellness appointment before anything is actually wrong.

Heartworm testing before treatment
Heartworm testing happens before heartworm treatment starts, not alongside it, so we know exactly what we're treating before your pet is on anything.
Once testing is done, we treat with a heartworm tablet or a heartworm injection depending on what suits that particular dog or cat. Both options are stocked here, and which one to use is decided with you at the appointment, not handed to every pet as a default.
Chapter 03
The 10% multi-pet discount
Bringing more than one pet in for vaccinations at the same visit gets you a 10% multi-pet discount.
The same 10% applies across the board for senior citizens, active and former military, and members of the local Humane Society, so ask at the front desk if any of those apply to you.
In-office lab work and nutritional counseling
In-office lab work means bloodwork and screening happen here rather than at a separate lab, so wellness visits and heartworm testing come back with an answer the same day.
Nutritional management and counseling and allergy management are handled at that same visit when your pet needs either one, rather than a separate appointment down the line.
